Anoa Monsho, MFA, RYT-500 is an experienced practitioner and teacher of yoga, meditation, breathwork, intuitive movement, Pilates, and writing. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in creative nonfiction from Goucher College and her work center personal transformation through movement, breathwork, and storytelling as the catalyst for community well-being.

Anoa, who teaches yoga internationally, brings an invigorating blend of creativity, spirituality, and deep joy to her highly sought-after classes, workshops, retreats, and creative projects.

A forever student, her teaching style is characterized by curiosity and a calm presence that creates connection and draws participants in, encouraging them to explore their own intrinsic power, beauty and wholeness, Anoa's classes are transformative experiences described by participants as profound journeys of self-exploration, self-love, acceptance, story sharing and personal growth.

Anoa earned her 500-hour yoga teacher certification through Laksmi Rising's Advanced Yoga Training Program and is currently immersed in a second 300-hour training with Uplifted Yoga teacher training.

Poised at the intersection of equity, representation, wellness and social justice, Anoa creates sacred spaces to help her community find well-being, joy, and the tools to sculpt lives that they love as a necessary step to shaping a better world.
